Marine Environment Awareness Course (MEAC) 2009

            

The ASA/BP Shipping Marine Environment Awareness Course provides high quality information on the marine environment to foster better understanding of the purpose of maritime environmental regulations to lead to better choices in day to day sustainable shipping practice.

The course includes presentations and workshops on marine ecology and toxicology, atmospheric emissions, waste/marine litter, marine pests, sustainable shipping, the importance of image, values and acceptance by society.

This is the only course of its kind designed specifically for seafarers and shore based personnel.
