International Presence

ASA has a strong presence in the international arena, where emerging environmental issues are tackled on a global level.  ASA’s Executive Director, Teresa Hatch, is the Chair of the International Chamber of Shipping Environment Panel, playing a leadership role in the debate on environmental issues that affect the shipping industry worldwide.  Shipping is a truly global industry, and as such, ASA’s commitment to the protection of our marine environment extends beyond our own seas and into the international forum.  We are proud leaders in our field, helping pave the way to a cleaner and more sustainable international shipping industry.
