Careers at Sea

The Careers at Sea website is an initiative undertaken by the ASA to help resolve the skills shortage that is affecting the maritime industry.

This site is designed as the one-stop-shop for shipping industry careers.

 In addition to the comprehensive and accurate advice on the career choices available within the shipping industry, the website services both prospective students and employers via several unique services:

Sea Study – for those who are interested in commencing the study need to pursue a career at sea.

Sea Recruit – provides a list of qualified staff looking for work at sea.

Job Board – enables advertisements for vacant positions both at sea and ashore.

Careers at Sea attracts a targeted audience for applicants for industry specific jobs making this service an invaluable option when recruiting.

ASA members receive discounted rates for subscriptions to the various Careers at Sea services as well as having exclusive access to the Sea Recruit service for Deck and Engine Officers.
