Health Safety and Environment
The ASA, with a view to achieving an environmentally and economically sustainable merchant marine industry, works consistently with state and federal governments as well as the International Maritime Organisation. The collective industry knowledge of ASA and its members provides a valuable insight into the industry. This industry knowledge is necessary for effective development and implementation of shipping regulations and is fundamental to achieving optimum outcomes for Australian ship owners and the environment.
